The West Island Karate Photo Gallery consists of pictures generously contributed by our students, their parents and friends of West Island Karate.  One of those West Island Karate students/parents is David Boily, a professional photographer whose work you'll often see in La Presse, Le Journal de Montreal and the Gazette just to name a few.  Fortunately for us, he's been a major contributor to our photo gallery over the years.  For a fun sample of his work, just click on the photo below to view a musical slide show of our annual juniors tournament.  Then enter the West Island Karate Photo Gallery to see more of his photos as well as those of our other contributors.  Thanks so much David!

Sensei John was very happy to welcome many Senseis, Sempais and students from other dojos to our 2012 New Year's Training.  The spirited training was a great way to shrug off the indulgences of the holidays and start off the new year on the right foot (or should I say "fist" juding from the above photo :-)).  Click on the picture to see some marvelous photos of the event courtesy of our own Anne-Marie Lemieux (thanks so much A-M).  Happy New Year everyone!

To say that this year's Karaoke Christmas Party was a huge hit would be a serious understatement.  Everyone got into the act (even Sensei) by picking up a microphone and entertaining the crowd with a song of their choice.  It was really something to see (and hear).  Fortunately our own David Boily decided to snap a few photos (when he wasn't busy singing himself) and has once again, very generously shared his wonderful pictures with us.  Much appreciated Dave!  Click on the picture above to witness the fun for yourself.  Enjoy.

Your humble webmaster recently had occasion to visit the Beginner Kids Class on a Saturday morning and take a few shots for posterity.  Sempai Victor led this latest generation of young West Island Karate students through a very fun class.  Just click on the picture above to check out the photos.  Enjoy.
